Johnzo West & The Wayward Souls

New single "Givin' Myself Away" available everywhere

Johnzo West is an Indiana born singer, songwriter and guitarist based out of Los Angeles, California. West has released three albums and the recent single, "Givin' Myself Away". He also plays guitar for Eric Burdon & The Animals and former L.A. psych rock band Fortress Social Club.

"West's voice reminds me of a slightly more polished version of Phosphorescent, think Tom Petty riffs with Eric Clapton level solos." - No Country For New Nashville

In 2016, West and his band The Wayward Souls began backing legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of The Animals, Eric Burdon. JW&TWS continue to perform around the world with Burdon as 'The Animals' with upcoming tour dates in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

West is also known for his collaboration with singer Miley Cyrus appearing on Amnesty International's compilation album "Chimes of Freedom: A Tribute to Bob Dylan". The duo covered Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" and released a music video directed by photographer/cinematographer James Minchin III. West and Cyrus have also performed together on The Ellen Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and at multiple charity events.

Johnzo West has shared the stage with Eric Burdon, Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band, Jackie Greene, The Cadillac Three, Toots and the Maytals, Benevento Russo Duo, and many others.
